Darren Bicknell
Professional Cricketer
Darren began his professional cricket career in 1987 where he joined Surrey County Cricket Club at the age of 19 making an immediate impact scoring his first 100 against Hampshire and the great Malcolm Marshall at the Oval in May1987. He was awarded his county cap in 1990.
Darren retired from professional cricket in 2006, after a career spanning 20 seasons with 46 first class centuries, 91 scores over 50 and just shy of 20,000 first-class career runs and not forgetting 29 first class wickets!
Darren's experiences of playing with and against some of the most colourful characters in the game have enabled him to recount insightful and amusing tales to audiences of all ages and is sure to leave every audience highly entertained.
